Dude,
I let my wife drive the car anytime she wants cuz I trust her and she knows how I feel about our cars, she totally respects that.
Besides, she is very experianced in driving lowered cars. Even tuned one that don't idle =)

elusive, sorry, i didtn mean to sound sarcastic...but i was completely serious. personally, i have only washed my car myself. never let anyone touch my car. not even the girlfriend. and wow. is that your wife? lucky you buddy. lucky you.

The car is back! *whew*
I agree, the comment about the 6mt was brilliant!
The car is back, no scratches that I can tell...but it was dusk when the car came back. Funny because both my clear corners and aluminum pedals arrived today so I grabbed my flashlight *wink wink* and headed out to install my new goods.
I'll be dammed if I didnt inspect every inch under that flashlight. Damn, I'm way too into this car. Not so much because my GF drove it, but because of the damn wash. But I lucked out, no scratches...and a decent wash
I'm thankful tonight for a few things:
* my GF has a new appreciation for the car, and my obsession with it.
* i found this forum, and a great group of people to cohort with on my new found passion.
* my car is not scratched and 126 miles closer to being broken in
* i got a good (scratch free) wash

My wife drove my 330i three times in three years. Once because she asked, and twice b/c she "had to". I was "unable" to drive. Both of the latter times were extremely funny in retrospect. I was complaining the whole way home. I remember saying things like "watch the curb" and "do you always drive like this?" She hasn't driven the G yet but she knows I'm a clean freak and baby my cars so I'd have a fit if anything happened. I don't lthink she wants to hear me b^tch for the rest of our lives about the time I let her drive my car.

LOL Cram...another reason my wife doesn't like mine is because she thinks its too loud. "Its a little loud, is something wrong with the muffler?"

I'm always worried when my wife takes the G. She only time she gets to drive it, is to work. Currently, her Accord Coupe has an idle issue, something with the throttle body. It runs and drives just fine. So, her excuse to me is that she doesn't want to get stuck and needs the G. One of her favorite things to do in the G is to rearrange the items in my trunk. I keep all of my stuff on the left side, but after she drives it, everything is located on the right. lol! She gets home from work, she comes in, smiles and says, "Have you hugged any corners lately?"
