My rear seatback's latch rattles, and there's no adjustment for the striker or anything. I thought it was the parcel shelf or a speaker.

I had to fashion a foam block with a slice in the center (not a hole). I slipped it over the striker loop and it fits tight. Now when the seatback latches, the foam piece provides enough spacing to eliminate the rattle without impeding the effectiveness of the latch itself.

If you do this, use the type of foam that a lot of electronic devices come in, not true styrofoam. The anti-static stuff that electronics come in wont squeak when it rubs against plastic like traditional styro will

Holy crap, i think that's what is causing my ratttling too. When i put down the rear seat, i don't hear it anymore. I really need to find a way to fix it.

Sorry if someone already posted it, I only read the first page but here's my tip.

Turn off the radio and listen to the exhaust. It doesn't have commericals!

+1 I encountered the same problem and solved it in the same way. Every now and then I need to adjust/reposition the fabric that I jammed between the liner and window.
