rear speakers rattle... brand new car

hey fellas,

i just got an 06 coupe and when i play cd or even sirius or radio, with my bass at 3 and treble at 4 .......i hear a shacking sound from my rear speakers. i thought it was the seatblets hitting the panels, or even a cheap cd.. but its not... the speakers shake.,..... what can it be.. its a new car so i doubt the speakers are blown

i had this problem on my 04 coupe but it wasnt this bad
what can i do, i dont want to hear the dealers excuse that "the systemis too powerful for the car"

oh ya ande no avdise on modding the car parts to aftermarket cuz its a leased vehicle and i dont want to invest any more

I know sometimes my speaker will rattel when a certain frequency of bass hits. They will be fine for all the frequencies of bass and some song will have that one frequency in it and my speakers for bat ****. I dont know if this could be what your talking about.....

^well if its leased take it back to them and tell them to fix it....you dont have an aftermarket head unit in it do you? If not then they cant tell you its too powerful or some random BS like that.

How is it when you turn down the bass level to zero?

I thought my 04 coupe had a blown speaker as well. I found out it only rattled at certain temps. Turned out to be the rear parcel shelf. At certain temps it would have this awful buzz/rattle kind of sound, very similar to a blown speaker.

I only have to deal with it in the summer months, after the temp drops below 75 degrees it just disappears.
