Give me your opinion.....

I have 55k on my 04 Coupe. Yesterday I received a letter from the dealership offering an extended warranty for another 72 months or 87,000 miles.

I have no plans on selling my coupe anytime soon. I haven't asked how much the extended warranty costs, but.....DO YOU THINK IT'S WORTH IT TO GET ADDITIONAL COVERAGE ?

It's $2,500 for a 3yr/36,000 extended warranty.

I also get 20% off with AAA membership. Which means it's like $2,000 for the warranty.

Do you guys think it's worth it?

Hmmm . . . This is an option which I may consider when the time approaches. Let us know what your decision is and if you were able to negotiate a better price.

 

Still sounds high to me. I paid $1450 for a 3/36K extended factory warranty on our Acura. I bought the warranty from a dealer in NY.
