Is the vortech supercharger compatible with the new 06?

No - not yet...we just ran a GB on the Vortech's...

 

It is if you have an automatic and you have someone that can tune it.

 

That's not correct, but they may work- as of yesteray afternoon and our calls into Vortech for our GB that just ended.

The only 06's that are approved by them are Z MT's...

I know there are about 4 test cars from Vortech with kits. Is he SoCal local and possibly one of them?

SportCoupe - what kit part number did you use and what issues did you have forcing you to tune to make it work - or was that the case at all...did it just work and you tuned anyways, as you should ;-)

They developed the '06 AT kit on mine so it should be available soon.

I have the Vortech supercharger in my car. So yes it does work but requires additional careful tuning.
I have a 2006 coupe 5AT

 

I'm not sure. I just got the kit from Avalonracing. its probably an 05 kit for the 06...I don't know what the tuning required is.

So basically you can use the 05 kits in an 06. ISM is probably correct where there is no official kit for the 06 yet but I'm telling you that the latest vortech kit (maybe not specifically for an 06) will work on 06 5AT coupes.

 

I don't doubt it all...they should work...but for our GB, we can't sell them that way, unfortunately, and guarantee they'll work...
