He didn't say the 05 came with the projectors Anyhow, only $700 fix and you got the projectors (plus trades for the used 05 headlights).

Except for the tranny in the 2nd gen CL. Notorious for bad trannies.
I came from the CL world myself and just picked up my 05 G about 3 weeks ago. When looking around I wasn't too crazy about the 03 interiors I saw. The 05 interior is what made me go with it, along with less miles. There some good deals on 05s, but look to spend around 7-8 grand more for an 06 with the same features.

I bought a used 2004, I love the "bling bling" factor of the Brembo brake but the price of parts is unreal, dont even think to service them at dealler.

I dont experience the "feathering/camber" tire problem.

I have the other usual g35 coupe problem (all under warenty, mostly on all model year):

-Driver seat rail replace because of unwanted movement/loose (TSB on that)
-skipping CD player (dealler accepted to replace)
-Hose fuel recall (done)
-Passenger window motor replaced because window stoped working.

I dont have excesive rattle in car, less than I had in my acura RSX.

I dont like the 19inches wheels look of newest g35, anyway 18 is allready really expensive for me...

For me the main difference is the interiour change, I could only afford a used 2004 coupe and the interior really look like crap. Cheap coloured plastic vs real metal inserts in newest models, they alose have a more refined center display with nicer clock, cleaner gauge in cluster panel.

Ha! That's laughable. The fact that so many transmissions (autos) failed between the years of 01 and 03, they were going to get sued. To settle it out of court, they came to an agreement.....to extend the trans warranty to 7yr/100k miles. That's why most of the CL/TL guys between those years are keeping their cars until they are around 100k miles. Then ditching the car. Some people have had their trans replaced 6 times!!! Pulling out of the dealer with a new trans and it fails on them. Shall I go on?

I have an 03 and had 0 problems with it and im at 75K miles already. I like the 04 personally with the brembo brakes looks great..the 03 came with the brembos as well, but you wanted all the knots out of it soo i would say the 04 would give you a nice payment and be reliable as well.

Yea perhaps the 04 is good if you want the brembos and a few problems worked out if any, although I havent had any real problems with my 03 w/ brembos, i got a new tranny due to luck.
