walmart should have surveilance video of the people who took your car. they probalby used self checkout. I forget whether they check id's at the regular checkout. if they used ur moms credit card at walmart, the cops can find them if they wanted to.

Quote: Tell your mom not to keep her purse in the car anymore.
That could turn out to be a bigger problem. Hopefully she has contacted every creditor, bank, etc. for cards she may have lost, not to mention her IDs.
Good luck with all that! Let us know what happens.

Sorry for your inconvenience. However, I do have to point something out. I dont know why people insist on leaving purses inside their cars. A couple months ago, somebody entered our complex on a sunday, opened about six cars, and stole purses or wallets from several of them. Funny thing is he/they did it again the next sunday and still was able to steal a coupke more purses. Security was reinforced, but I dunno if people learned their lesson....

Yup my gf left an empty spare purse in the front seat of her car and some bum busted open a window only to find nothing valuable. She learned her lesson and won't do it again. My roomate got his car jacked and when they found it, they put it in an inpound and charged him for towing and storage fees [how f*ked up is that?]

Btw, can you make mods to a leased vehicle? I had no idea

When i was 25 i had a Granada scorpio stolen off my drive taken to a field and joy riden, when they found it it had been damaged so bad the insurance company wrote it off ( that car was my pride and joy ). I was so p****d because the police just took basic details and didn't even consider it important, so i had an intruder alarm fitted over my garage but i disconnected the auto light which is set off and wired it to a bell in my bedroom so they didn't know that i knew they /he was on my drive.
I JUST WANTED TO CATCH THE SCUMBAG AND GIVE HIM MY OWN JUSTICE.

Hope everything goes well, if they find out that they broke into another car and got the keys, then stole it, they might try to press negligence on your behalf and give you $hit. I preach and preach to my girlfriend about leaving her purse or any bag in her car in visible sight, no matter where she parks and she huffs and puffs and get aggravated. A hard head makes a sore a$$, unfortunately, my a$$ will be just as sore if it happens!
