I went to test drive a G35 coupe today and I FELL IN LOVE. I put down a deposit and I am waiting for delivery of my new coupe. I actually wanted to wait until April of 2004 to purchase one but, after reading posts from G35DRIVER day after day, I couldn't take it anymore and I went for a test drive. I test drove an auto and it was a lot of fun playing with the manumatic. I can't wait for the fun times that I will have with my 6mt. I ordered a Blk/Blk or Silver/Blk which ever one comes in first, prem pkg., full aero kit, mat, navi and 500 below MSRP.

Ya, Uneeed, you are right. I drive both auto and Manual, but my g is an auto and I drive stick in the bathroom and my master bedroom.

Look at how offended you got, wen I simply mention they drive different. See, in his case he drove an AT but ORDERED a MT.. I didn't expect a site of so many adults to go critical without looking at the details. I think tht the consesus here would be that the AT drives different from the MT. I really could care less about showing off my MT feelings towards AT. He happened to testdrive an AT, but careful examination of his post reveals that he, in fact, ordered a MT. I simply suggested him to go drive a MT to get a feeling of wht his ordered car would be like. Get off my nutz alrdy.

DragonGcoupe, I wanted to drive a MT but, they didn't have one to test drive. Either way both cars sould be great cars to drive. Personally, if I had the cash, I would purchase a MT and an AUTO

anyways yeah I only test drove an auto, but am currently waiting for my 6mt.. dealer didn't have a standard tranny for me to try.

 

i test drove both coupe and sedan. the dealership near me said all MT's are sold before they hit dealer floor. either orders or dealership orders that get bought off order sheets. i was told to test a 350z as they have plenty of MT's.

fyi, i just bought a sentra to be my daily driver. first AT in over 5 years. yes, it's a sentra, but i miss it being an MT. something about controlling the engine.

The 350z track didn't have the Bose 6CD or the hugging leather seats, so I was sold on the Gcoupe 6MT. I really wanted a 350z, but the Gcoupe was such a better buy for the money. Even tho 350z is ez to find, try finding a Track [Brembo'z] one in ur color around Southern Cali... Sheesh.
