Ty.

BTW it will be a 2006 auto, coupe.

You think asking between 38,000 and 39,000 is a good place? Thats about 300-700 off invoice

I'm no seasoned car-buying veteran, but through the research I've done in the last month, I can offer some of my findings.

1) Where do you live? Price is based heavily on location. If you live in a G35-flooded market, like CA or NY, chances are you can get very good deals (below invoice and better). Here in Texas, anywhere from $500 below invoice to $500 above invoice would be a decent price.

2) Automatics are easier to find than the manuals. Another reason why you can lower your asking price for the automatic.

3) Your online configuration might not be the one you'll get. At this time of the year, you can get some very nice deals due to dealers trying to make their target, but they no longer put in orders for configurations they don't have, so you might be left with whatever they have.

I wouldn't recommend going into a dealership unless it's to sign paper work and get your car, but I don't know your situation (I'm assuming you might have talked to them before?) I would do it all through emails (took me 2 days to get quotes from all the dealerships around the state and have them fight over me )

Anyways, I do wish everything works out for ya!

I am in Ohio. I am going there because I have spoken to them before, so I will go to test drive one and then figure stuff out about the loan. I need to see what they will pre approve me for so I know how much down payment I need.

Also if they don't go for 38,000 to 39,000 Ill say take the rear active steering off and then give me for the price I want. Since that will be right on invoice price.

We shall see.

IMHO, never buy the car, unless you're loaded ofcoarse, in your first visit. you should know what you want, price, options, etc. make multiple visit, do a test drive, return some other day, to talk about your price.

Booo. I went and they have only like 5 coupes to choose from since its the end of the year. And I only wanted black. I will have to either find a used one, but most likely I'll wait until January and get a 2007.

Good news! I found a lease for a 2006 on leasetrader with all I want. I think it has all options actually. Didn't really want GPS thought. I went for it, if all goes well it will be mine and I will just buy it at the end of the lease.

I don't want to wait til January to get it!
