Sorry about the bad news. To answer your aftermarket parts with a leased vehicle, best answer...call and ask the dealer. Straight from the horse's mouth.

Sorry to hear that, TB....but it looks like you came out on top.... , and nobody hurt.....that's the main thing.
G/L with repairs, she'll be back in no time.

Are you sure you didnt rear end him? How did your car hit his rear end and break his rear axle and its his fault?

Not trying to blame you just trying to understand

Dammmmmm good luck with everything, I just got rear ended on tuesday by a beater ford taurus by some kid!!!!! Not to bad but will need a new rear bumper, also wondering if I can just get an aftermarket one instead of a oem one through his insurance.

And if not "ouch I think my neck has been really hurting....."

haha i realized i made a mistake in what i wrote. I hit him but he was in a make beleive shoulder lane. He was trying to make a greeen light and he decided to make his own lane while i was making a left. I hit him though but the the guy admitted fault and his insurance will end up picking up the tab. good catch though.

Its not any different. As long as the car is fixed back to factory spec, there will be no problems. You cant claim diminished value because its not your car. Since its a lease, its not your loss, its Nissan's loss, they have to deal with the depreciation hit.
