12K miles and tranny

I dont know if I'm the only one experiencing this but lately after I hit 12K miles the shifting becomes very smooth I thought it was only a fluke but I was observing it for 2 weeks and its totally gone, before I use to feel a little "snag" when I shift mostly on 2nd and 5th. Is anyone experiencing this after 12K miles?..

6mt, I also talk to my friend he drives a 2001 Pontiac trans am and he said that his manual tranny was very notchy until he hits over 12K miles then it becomes softer, maybe the tranny on the G takes that long to break in?

That's good to hear. Hopefully mine will do the same (?).
