AAI-NIS2 intermittant

I'm getting started on a fairly complicated install in my g. So far I've got my AAI-NIS2 installed, and the digiwheelz touch LCD - with carputer/backupcam/etc to come as weekends permit.

anyway, at this stage so far so good except my radio "intermittantly" recognizes the NIS2 is there. sometimes i'll power on the stereo, and scanning through radio will hit on SAT1 and SAT2. sometimes it will skip right over SAT1/SAT1, without displaying them. sometimes turning the radio off and on will get the radio to recognize SAT, sometimes not. so "intermittant" is the best way i can describe it.

2005 g35MT, LS, no SAT.

it could be a loose cable, but it doesn't feel like it to me because there's never any problems mid-drive. if it recognizes it, it will stay recognized and playing with no problems, even on bumpy roads.

anybody had similar experiences with the NIS? sugguestions? could try a reflash from PAC maybe, but it doesn't fit their problem descriptions.

thanks much,

I have an aai-nis2 and mine does not do that. I would double check all connections again and if it still happens, exchange it for another unit.
