NATIONWIDE ...Worst Ins Company!!! please read...
Long story short, I hydrolocked my car in a major flood back in August (big mistake, and I feel like an idiot!). I have yet to get my car back. Infiniti of Raleigh ordered the WRONG engine for my 2005 6-speed 3, three, times!!!! Nationwide blamed the mistake on Infiniti and Infiniti blames this on Nationwide. Go figure...
So, 8 weeks later and I still do not have a car! I could have rebuilt the engine myself in 2 weeks! So anyway, the dealship calls with great news, "Sorry about the delay, however Nationwide gave us the O.K. (without my approval) to replace this with a new engiine." Great, I said, who cares, Its a FRICKING LEASE that I do not plan to buy... So whatever, I get a new engine.
I get a call today from Nationwide telling me that my car MIGHT be done this week. So, that is the GREAT NEWS they say, BUT you have to pay a "betterment cost" because we replaced with it with a NEW Engine instead of an used one. WTF. I dont care, its a FRICKIN LEASE!!! This betterment cost is 10% of the cost of a new engine ($10,000 dealship cost), quick math, $1,000.00. And... the worst part is that today is the first time I have been told about this!
I'm so pissed i could show up at the Nationwide office with a beating stick!! Any creative ideas would help!

That is bs IMHO. Why? Because they didn't give you a choice at the beginning. They also didn't inform you before you authorized the new engine vs rebuilt. Did they pay for the loaner all this time?
I've had Nationwide for yrs and never had a problem with them but I'm not suprised to hear Infiniti of Raleigh screwed up. The fact that they are the only Infiniti dealership in the area sometimes makes me want to trade in my car.
