Ok about the NAV. how do i switch to birds eye view? Also when im entering destinations the nav wont let me search my phone numbers. Also in the nav info it doesnt show anything about tire pressure monitor. I have 2004 G35 coupe so is there anything wrong with the nav or this nav just wont let u find destinations by phone number?

 

Also, when i step on gas there is like a 2-3 second delay before it takes off.. wtf?

Choose Settings, View, and choose birdseye. Also, why can you not search by #s? Is the option not able to be hilighted? Are you driving while you try to do this? It's all in the manual, I believe.

Your tire-pressure is a monitor, I believe you have a light on your dash that indicates when it's low. It doesn't tell you the psi in each tire... that's reserved for the FX, M, and Q.

turn off your VDC or you may bog during launch (check for slip light flashing on/off)

crappy gas mileage is expected during break in and until about 3000 miles, it will get better don't worry. And the phone numbers only work for business numbers.

 

There shouldn't be a 2-3 second delay.. even with VDC on. If that's truely what is going on, there is a problem.

11mpg is way lower than what most people report. The low end of what I've seen is 15-16. When I first got my car, I was getting 16. With 1200 miles now, I'm getting 18. I expect it will continue to increase up to about 3000 miles.

I was getting 18mpg for the first few weeks, then it slowly improved, and then finally at 23mpg after 6,000 miles. (now i have 8,500 miles)

hey in the manual it says the breakin period is for the first 1200 miles and to keep it under 3500, i accidently went over 3500 rpm a few times, like actually up to 5500 rpm a couple times, is this bad? please im really paranoid now... i hope i didnt mess anything up

 

Ditto....i'm at about 14XX now..and my car is giving me like 14 mpg.

About the Transmission delay....VERY weird...because it happened to me the other night....i stepped on it..and after a second or two....the car downshifted...maybe a 2004 flaw?

actually many people say (and post) breakin rpm's at 4k.

won't hurt car if you occassionally go over, but don't make it a habit. similarly, it says don't use cruise control during that stretch. won't hurt car, but car is better off having varying speeds.

i see, okay good, im at around 800 miles on my car, i have another 400 to go, i cant wait to see how this beast really feels ... i already feel the beast in her, but i cant wait til i reach 1200 miles so i can just punch it...
