its simple im driving 50 m/hr and all of a sudden the back of my car kicks out ok its raining but at 50 how could i have hydroplained. Could it be the weather gettin cold and the potenza's. Any ideas?

 

maybe your tires are gettin bald?

 

****.. where on LI... I was just cruising up the road but I am fine.. not a real rain here, just wet roads or was this in the morning or something? Anyway.. hope you caught the slide and recovered it...

Was your VDC off?

 

it was on the Sagitos Parkway my car only has 6000 miles on it and so does the tires i know for a fact the tires are good...it was rainign alittle but i was driving 50 and the whole back of the car kicked out...i was soooo pissed i didnt hit anything i was just slidding sidways down the sagitos but watever i guess its time 4 winter tires...mabe these tires are 2 wide and they hydroplain?

 

o ya vdc was on i was just cruising i wasnt even really hitting the gas i was in 6th gear

 

Well I ran out for dinner before and turned VDC off and have to saying I was pushing the gas a bit leaving the parking lot but have to say my tires really spun nicely... normally nothing like they did tonight.. I think the cold is having an effect on our tires.. I just replaced mine with the OEM

Was the cruise set? With cruise set this can happen in the rain if there is alot of water on the road.
