So we take them in and get a new sensor, gratis... If that's the problem, then I don't see why I should be all upset. Most manufacturers have recalled almost half the cars out there every year...

Im with GB, its a good thing they are coming out with this. Everybody will get it fixed and worst case scenerio they will get a new sensior or maybe a whole new engine

NISSAN is a company that has been around for a long time and has a good rep for quality. They'll do the right thing. Everyone can just' relax!

 

I don't think this is much of a big deal either - just sharing information. I was more curious if it was our 2003 Skyline or if was the R-34 Skyline (or both). They didn't differentiate which, if all, 98-03's were recalled or if certain 98's, certain 00's, certain 03's were. We may not even have this to worry over at all.

Sorry guys I love my G but I'm just getting irritated with all the recalls and fixes I've had to get fixed so far.
1. Grease Streak - Drivers window
2. Recall - Brake Lamp Switch
3. Dealer rear ended my car - New Rear Bumper & Paint (Not Infiniti's Fault)
4. Dealer scratched front rim - Front wheel replaced (Not infiniti's fault)
5. Transmission Chattering - Tranny being replaced right now
6. Rear deck TSB for creaking buzzing sound
7. Rear View mirror buzzing sound requires replacement part
8. Possible Recall - For Engine Sensor

I'm not trying to make anyone hate their G guys, I love mine too but I'm just frustrated with the amount of time mine has spent in the shop. And the fact that I violated my own rule of no first year models. Guess it's more my perspective I guess, just hoping it won't affect my resale value. Sorry to bring anyone down.
