Proud New G Owner... Advice on Improvements

Hello,

I just got an 03 Car. Blue Coupe Automatic in St. Louis... and I'm ready to improve the performance.

I have about 1500 to spend on it in the next month...I'm looking for reccomendations on what to buy and WHERE to buy it (I have no idea who is reputable)??

I think I want HKS exhaust, a plenum spacer, 350z tube and a K&N?

Any help would be amazing.

THANKS!

unless you find some great deals i dont think you can get all that for 1500 lol

best ive seen hks for is 1399. spacers with iso thermal run for 295 i think now. ztube plus k&n should run you about 100.

hks for 1399 - jscspeed
plenum spacer - mynismo, everythingg35 - doesnt really matter. prices on plenum spacers are pretty firm..
ztube - get the stillen one. its cheaper.

are you looking to get the 5/16 or 1/2 spacer? i think therer are a few spacers for sale floating around in the marketplace

HA indeed, my name on all forums is Stockyguy b/c I'm a wider guy and initially wanted to be a Stockbroker. I thought it was clever at age 18.

Anywho, If you guys have any suggestions on anything else I should do. I'm up for suggestions.

Where can I get this HKS for $1300 because I'm game for that.

I was thinking 5/16 on the spacer, that way I can keep the engine cover.

I'm really new to the G so any advice would be sweet. Am I thinking along the right lines? I just came from a Camaro SS so just like Billy Madison.... I'M HERE TO LEARN!

Thanks

Any reccos? Do cats add to hp or just sound?

From what I've read its so tough to squeeze a significant amount of HP out of these short of supercharging or turbo.
