Pushing in the clutch = BLOWN MOTOR

Glad to see ur aight speed. It happenned to me twice but it was due to aftermarket mats which I later tossed. Def streaked my pants though!

That'd be my guess......If they're aftermarket (not OEM) mats, they may have inched forward and jammed the pedal.

If not then there's some serious $hite going on with the cable-less throttle and probably the ECU.

Scarey stuff....

Those are OEM A/S anchored by that pin. The mat couldn't have moved. I'm really lost on that one....

"tread lightly, mate.....if it's not the mats then it must be the throttle.....

Start doing it on purpose and sell tickets to passengers.

On the serious side, glad to hear youre ok. Ive had the clutch stick to the floor on a previous vehicle, but have never seen the throttle do it.

I've decided to keep everyone in the loop considering the potential dangerous situation this problem may pose to us and others.

Quick little update: I checked on the mat - it's anchored in place and what's more important: its design does not allow it to come anywhere near the gas pedal - it's official: the mat had NOTHING to do with it. I will snag a pic later on today to show what it looks like.

I've scheduled a service for this coming Tuesday to have this ish checked out. I'll keep you guys posted.
