do u think its worth it to go through the hassle of changing the 04 to 06

ie.
front lights,sport bumper (front and side) and rear lights?
i use to hate the 06 rear and bumper so much but then it got to me...

IF youre gonna change it, might as well get some body kits.

 

don't spend money on the 06 body style..just get a body kit and be unique. I got 06 headlights for beneficial reasons...

Going for the 06 look is not worth the money to look like a stock G. Get something that would def make you stand out from the rest of the other G's out there.

I personally think the headlights on the 06 are awesome. The front bumper is nice, but I just don't like the fact that it has the look of a molded lip to it. Do what you want with your car.

i wouldnt switch to the 06 just for those reasons...not worth it imo...

but if its the revup engine that you want then i say go for it...

but for the reasons you listed, i wouldnt do it. i dont think its worth the trouble

 

be a little patient and save your money for the 08 GTR... or if that is not your cup of tea, or even out of your price range, then wait for the 08 coupe, which will be new. Especially the engine... which, if history is worth anything, it should contend with the new BMW 335i coupe... as in, the 3.0 liter inline six bi-turbo which is easily putting out 275RWHP if not more. And don't make me get into the suspension... anyway I know the horsies are there because I just acquired one for my sister.

So yeah. All of my jealousy aside, wait for the 08 coupe to come out, or save more for the GTR, or any number of amazing cars that are due to come out around then.

 

Do whatever you feel is the right thing to do.

Who cares about the rev-up engine in the '06? My weak little '04 NON rev up 6MT eats up rev-ups all the time. They do not impress me, especially off the line....

I was personally looking into getting the '06 headlights myself, just because they are brighter than my '04 headlights.

The tails are similar, but i don't think I would spend the money for just looks.

 

Not worth it. Spend the money on performance mods or wheels. And I personally think the '04 coupe front bumper looks better than the '06.

 

It's a driver race for which car will be faster. Guess you are the better driver on the ones you've raced

Like everyone else is saying, don't waste your time, money, and energy. Wait for the 08.

 

The only change you mentioned worth doing might
be the headlights. Get a Ken style body kit and
forget the other stuff!

 

alright looking through all ur comments got me thinking, ill definitely get the 06 projectors simply because there projectors, and the rest ill think of a different route
