if there were bolt on mods that are that easy/cheap then everyone would be running 13s. but i rarely even see people get in the low 14s with their bolt on mods.

If you look at the Drag forum you can find some people here in low 14's and high 13's bolt-ons or even "stock":

https://g35driver.com/forums/drag/124267-back-track.html

I, on the otherhand, was no where near high 13's the first time I went to the drags

/\ Track varies from each other and elevation, track condition, weather, driver..etc. plays important on your time. I say if you are a decent driver and the track in your area is easy then just throw in all the bolt-on you can find (Headers, Exhaust, Plenum upgrade, HFC...etc) and you'll break the 13's (high 13's) on stock wheels. 13's on a G is not easy! oh, by the time you're done installing all the bolt-on you can find, your bill will be just close to a price of Vortech SC and you'll be running low to mid 13's all day.

/\ true but if you want to really see your power on the track that can translate on the street then running slick is only for slip and bragging rights but that won't help you on the street.

Edit: by the way, the guy who ran 13.84 on the link was trapping 101mph. I haven't seen anyone trap that high on everything stock I want to see what other G are running on that track.

I am with you there. There's a couple of guys here who've run low 14's ("nismo g", kid from FL ran like a 14.00something, with only NA mods), and "bossho" ran 13.85 I think with NA mods and some weight reduction. The one I posted above is the one that gets me the most...13.87 w/2.0something 60' time and STOCK...wow! Props to that dude's launching skills on a 6MT.

I think you could get there NA with plenum spacer, exhaust, HFCs and/or test pipes or headers, some sort of ECU re-flash or piggy-back unit, and some weight reduction (low gas tank level, remove spare and jack, maybe even remove passenger seat). And while all that's not cheap together, I still think it's much less than the $5K plus you'll spend on a Stillen Stage 2 SC (for example).

I have run a 13.9 @ 102 mph w/intake and mrev........now I have added an exhaust and HF cats. I haven't run in a while, next I will add UTEC and that should get me 13.6-13.7.......

yes, but with just Stillen stage 2 you'll be running mid to low 13's I have seen Stage 2 ran 12.9 already.

These are the Best NA parts for max gain.
Crawford Headers = 980
Crawford HFC = 500
HKS Exhaust = 1400
Iso thermal spacer = 340
(Mrev2) = 446
UTEC/Tune = 1400+ (much better than Flash)
Install will be around $1100+ for headers/HFC/Exhaust/Utec (MREV/Spacer can be done by your self)

That's about 6k+, this will be close to Stillen HP but will have less torque than a Stillen SC Stage 2. Oh, You can have a Votech installed for 6K and run high 12's all day. NA will always be more expensive and it is only for the brave.

I plan on getting some fast intentions headers and HFC's w/my tax return money. Then I will get the Cobb AccessPort when that comes out. Adding that to my Stillen exhaust, crawford plenum and popcharger, hopefully I will be in the mid 13s
