No Lowering The Coupe Anytime Soon

I just got off the phone with Eibach for what seems to be the millionth time. Originally I was informed that the Eibach Pro-Kit for the COupe was supposed to be out the beginning of February. I called today to get an exact date and they regretfully told me that the Pro-Kit will not be out for at least another 3 months. They don't even have a prototype of the springs. I will post more if and when I find out more.

Re: No Lowering The Coupe Anytime Soon

The kit is only going to lower the car about an inch all around. So it is not drastic. I have a ' 94 Infiniti J30 that is lowered about 2 inches all around. I am talking slammed and I have slight problems getting over speed bumps, I just have to angle it a little bit. I am used to driving with a car lowered so it really shouldn't be an issue, plus as KKH mentioned, I am getting 19's, so I want to lower it to close that gap in the wheelwell.

HKS and Cusco have coil over kits with struts and shocks for the g35 coupe.

the car does have a nice stance, but the wheel gap is kind of a bugger. The car would look nice at a lower stance, longer and clean looking. The cusco setup is said to make the ride nicer and very competative. I would just be afraid of scraping, the car already scrapes. The wheel base is no civic either.

good luck with whatever choice you make.

If you keep the overall diameter of the new wheel and tire package the same (or as close as possible) as stock, the gap should be the same.
