Hi all,
I read somewhere on the web (I think it was the Stillen site) where someone was claiming that the NEW Stillen SC for the 298hp engine was silent, or may be they meant quieter. Is that so?

Any way you slice it there's gonna be a whine. It's the nature of a roots-type supercharger.

The wait is over! Owners of the 298hp VQ35DE engines have a reliable forced induction package to push their car to over 390hp and 360 lb-ft of torque at the flywheel (Stage 2 with the Stillen Dual Path Exhaust, Part #504360D, as tested on STILLEN's dyno*). Using proven components, our kit is CARB approved and eligible for optional 3 year / 36,000 mile warranty coverage as with our other blowers (Stage 2 Only).
Proven on the streets and at the strip since 2003, STILLEN manufactures the most reliable forced induction kit for the G35 Coupe. Our Stage 2 kit produces outstanding power and is CARB approved which makes it legal for street use in all 50 states! The foundation of this kit is the same twin-screw supercharger used by OEM's around the world. We chose it for the same reasons they did - excellent peak power coupled with superior low end and midrange. The internal high efficiency air to water intercooler design allows for more power and torque via a greatly reduced inlet charge temperature. This design also eliminates complex and cluttered intercooler piping. Our kits use an internal bypass valve, which minimizes parasitic loss. This results in a 30% to 66% increase in useable power.
These kits ship complete with all the parts needed to get your vehicle on the road with minimal down time. Our electronic control box is factory set to your vehicle and extra fuel is supplied by an auxiliary injector. When you want more power for your car, but don't want to give up daily drivability STILLEN will be there to supply you with everything you need.

either way, any forced induction should have some type of winding up noise, the thing spins at like 15,000 rpms to suck in air doesnt it?

Hmm, I saw it again. Somehow I got mixed up, the Stillen SC was for a Rousch Mustang not the G35. That is the one that was quieter. Sorry.
