Perfectly happy with their G35?

I see so many people nowadays on these boards parting out their G's, jumping ship to BMW's, or selling to await the new body G's. But is anyone out there like me, perfectly happy with their 03-06 G35? I don't really care that the new body is coming out (apart from just being excited that it's a new G35), I look forward to modding the hell out of my first gen G35 and having fun with it, and even hope that when the new 08's come out that some aftermarket components for our car might get cheaper to get!

I dunno about you guys but I'm planning on driving my G well into 09 or so before getting another car. These engines are built tough and I think a tastefully modded G35 is just a beautiful thing to behold, new body or not!

That is one of the reasons why I bought an 04 even after knowing that the generation 2's are coming out. I think the body style of the coupe is absolutely timeless. I could only say this about 3 other cars. The 90-96 300ZX, 90-96 RX-7, and the Lexus SC300/400. IMHO of course.

I've had my G for 3+ years now, and I love it. The only thing I do not like is that it is up there in mileage now, and I have squeaks and creeks now that were never there before. I'm looking to switch to the BMW 335i coupe in the next year or so. Don't get me wrong, I love Infiniti, but I want to switch to something with a turbo and the luxury to back it up.

I plan on keeping my car for at least another year or two. I am very happy with it.

I love my G35 coupe. The G is both classy and sporty with just the right amount of luxury for a sports coupe. At the age of 29, I wanted something that was fun to drive, but also felt and looked nice. The G coupe does it for me.

My last car was a 2000 Audi A4, which I also loved, but you can't beat the reliability of a well-built Japanese car. My family has owned Audi, BMW and Mercedes, and although they look nice, drive nice, and feel nice, it really disappoints me how unreliable they are. Things goes wrong with every car, but it just seems like stupid things tend to go wrong with German cars; things that make you say "I spent $40K on this car, it should be made better"

So, bottom line, Yes, i'm perfectly happy with my G

I find the G35 Coupe to be a great car with some flaws as all cars have but I realize it does have and most of all... a BIG BANG FOR THE BUCKS!..... This said.. since I'm no longer a teenager, I would have already had another car except for the fact that there is nothing out there that intrigues me for 35-40 big ones.. I kind of like the Aston Martin.. but it's a Ford.. So? I'm sticking with my sexy G35 Coupe.. I do think it's timeless.. Great lines.and most of all it IS RELIABLE!
