Here's an interesting find (might be repost). Best motoring video with STi, S2000, and G35 to list a few. Not saying every match up will be the same, especially on the streets, but considering that these are professional drivers with what I assume equal abilities on a closed track, I would have thought the STi would have faired much better.

Drove a modded STi on a small track. Can't say I didn't like it, but then again, I only had to deal with it for a few minutes.

It's like that because the performance potential of the EVO is twice that of the STI (ahem, its ST"I" now hehe.) Dollar for dollar, the EVO will create more power barnone. Given the fact, I'd still take the STI for its larger engine, softer ride, and civility. If I had a daily driver with all of those attributes, I'd take the EVO.

not that it matters but i just picked up an 03 g35 last month...anyways last saturday night as i was strolling around town there was this suv full of chicks that pulled up next to me and they were all smiling and waving, then girl in the front passenger stuck her head out the window(with that "i want to f*** look"..lol) and said nice car!.....it just feels good ever since i got this car i got so many compliments from all these hot girls "is that really your car", "your car is beatiful!" it just reassures me that i made a right choice instead of getting the STI or EVO...

Thumbs down

He is right about the speed:

Road and Track Magazine:
2.5 L, H-4, 6 speed Manual
0-605.10 sec.
1/4 Mile13.60 sec.
60-0 Braking120.00 ft.
80-0 Braking216.00 ft.
IssueDec-05
Skidpad0.92 g.
Slalom68.20 mph
Top Speed155.00 mph

I think they are FUGLY though. It's your choice though, ans if speed is all you care about then rock on. The G is a sexy beast.

the STi is a solid car, suprisngly reliable and fun to drive. but it get old and youll realize that the suspension is rough and its too fast and the only real purpose for having it is racing. The G is a decent performer, timeless styling, and a business interior that is also sporty.

i too considered the STi and was actually ready to buy one when i sat down adn though "in 5 years when im out of college, what would i rather have?"

+ STi rapes ur mother in insurance :x haha

have fun with it, drive safe
