I guess I don't understand. Mitu. should develope a better looking car to put all that performance in. For that kind of $$$, I would be sporting a porshe camen and still have money left over. Stands out alot more than a lancer that starts at $14000. Not trying to dogg you rally guys, just not my cup of tea.

In fact, I think Infiniti and Lexus are the only companies heading in the right direction in Japan. I know those are some bold words right there, but hey, I'm a bold guy.
Mazda is stepping up in terms of performance and much as Hyundai is stepping up in terms of quality. For those of you that don't know, the new Mazda3 has like 268 hp, and costs under 25k. Hyundai won 3rd place in terms of quality, in... I forgot where, starts with a J. Porsche was number one, and Lexus was number 2.
Honda doesn't have much potential in terms of performance until they start making another RWD car or bump up the power for the NSX.
Acura needs to do the same.
Toyota.. we'll see when they make the new Supra. But I'm pretty sure as far as stock performance it won't be much better then it's competition. I'm sure the japanese performance guys will be able to do wonders with it though.
Nissan has the 350z, we'll see how they'll screw it up.
Mitsubishi is trying to be this weird techno, radical styling but I really don't like it imo.
Here are just some of my opinions of future concepts (in simple form):
S2k - discontinuing
Evo X - ugly
STi - haven't seen the new concept
350z - the circle headlights totally don't flow, and I think the car lost much of it's overall smoothness
G35 - just gets sexier
335i - still rather dull especially for the price
Z4 - discontinuing
