This was weird...

Tonight, as I was backing into my parking space (slight incline), I was almost all the way in when, all of a sudden while trying to make a quick steering adjustment, the steering wheel locked up on me and the SES and battery lights came on!? I was dumbfounded and didn't know what else to do, so I just turned off the ignition and turned it back on; everything was suddenly back to normal. I was worried there for a second, but I'm still kinda p*ssed that this bizarre event happened at just 1200 miles. Has anyone else experienced something like this or know what might have caused it?

The engine was still running!? I guess I forgot to mention that.

Yea, Ive come close to killing it a few times. It's at about 400-300 rpm when the car is barely running and you get all the service lights to light up and still be able to recover with a quick push of the clutch. That's been the only way that ive been able to get then to light up while the car is running

Hmm, I guess that sounds possible. My rpms might've gotten down to that point, momentarily, but then recovered as you mentioned, after pushing the clutch back in again.
