Benz E350 sport sounds a better choice.
I don't why u would spend that much money and get the C55 if u don't care about acceleration. At the end of the day that is the main thing that its good for is strait line power.

I test drove the C55 and it feels waay faster. Stronger, Smoother...German. The steering is real nice, But I didnt really get to push it. I was kind of scared, It was one of the first times driving a real expensive car like that. Plus the sales associate was in the car with me.

Definately an understatement?

MB's are known to be really unreliable, especially the C-Class.

From my point of view, MB's are for more mature older people, while beamers, such as the M3, are for young adults who love performance with luxury.

I'd take a beamer over an Mercedes anytime, unless it was the SLR

.

.

true

but overall, you have to admit the MB line up is way better than BMW's
BMW doesnt have competitors for the upper-end Benz's
such as the CL, and the SL, and of course the SLR
on top of that they have the 500, 55 amg, 600, and 65 amg
my dream car would be a CL65 AMG
i'd take it over the bentely GT

Bought an E-class benz because I thought it would be reliable for many years...after owning it a few years it is not turning out to be the paragon of quality. I have a friend who audits MB and she noted they are experiencing lots of quality issues with C-class...it was the first time they tried to produce a relatively inexpensive high volume vehicle.

I love Mercs. but only the AMG models. I have considered getting either an SL55 or used SL65 as a weekend car myself.
