It will smoke a 07 sedan - there is no question that the V8 is WAY FASTER than Nissan's 6 cylinder. The torque curve is not comparable. It's like comparing a M35 to a M45. Even though the peak hp numbers are not that far apart, the torque and power curve is not even close.

He's already stated that he wants an automatic car.

 

the c class is made very very poorly and cheaply. the engine is hand built however and if an engine defines a car to you c55 amg is the way to go. its pretty much a regular chasis on a c 240 or whatever number with a wonderful engine between the wheels with ofcourse a upgraded tranny exhaust suspension blah blah bunch of wordsss

Well yes driving in an mb of anykind seems to be an upgrade cause people that drive them think the world of their cars, honeslty i would not go with the c class because it porbably does not offer any more than the current line of g's do besides name. If your gonna upgrade your car you have to do it in all categoies. Technologies, speed, handling, status, reliability, looks, etc. you dont want to go to car and miss something about your last one. than you'll want another car. trust me, my dad neighbor had an 06 sedan x and jus traded it in for an is250 awd, now he complains because, its not as fast, so i say get the the is350...no awd option...you have to get everything at once, unless you really want the cl55. But obviosly you dont want it that bad if your asking us what you should do. You probably jus like the name and want to be in that status
