and make sure she signs everything. DO NOT PAY HER CASH! DO NOT PAY ANYONE YOU OWE MONEY TO CASH. You will always need a paper trail of that crap. Check is best because it is an actual contract between two parties and you can always get a copy of it from your bank. The $700 claim is probably legit because if you think about it...if her bumper was perfect (prior to the accident) and you hit it, a good bodyshop would still do the same thing to repair it: removing it, changing the bumper, and reshooting the paint. If she doesn't want to sign anything then say you will have to claim it with the insurance i.e. open a claim and go the legit route. It is legally better for you that way. My guess is that she is a greedy little *** and will take the money and sign.
