Last year, when eleven inches of snow fell in NJ and I pulled into the Wendy's on route 18, the look on the faces of the SUV driving populace was priceless.

The roads had been plowed, but not well.

If I did a 360 during a storm, the snow makes me scared as hell to drive the G cause who knows what could happen.

well, I generally take care of my cars. driving them in the snow, with all the sand and deicers that are applied to the road will definitely **** your car up over time, just my two cents.............

if i lived up north i think that I would be inclinded to get a 4 wheel drive truck and let the G relax so that no accidents happen to her over the winter

Yeah, uphill sucks in snow, but our G is great for everything else. It's really fun in the rain and snow. Our cars are not fat heavy pigs. That term is used when describing the poor handling of a car. Our car handles really well. It even qualifies as a midship because the engine is back behind the front axels. They only other car that i know that you can say this of besides the 350z is the S2k.

hmmm, i'm not sure if i'd agree with that? Fishtailing at 60mph while accelerating on the highway is not my idea of fun! But to each his own...

The summer only tires are dangerous even in small amounts of snow. You may have problems with as little as an inch of snow. Do a favor to all of us, and stay off the road with them in bad conditions.

There not very safe in colder temperatures either. They really loose grip when it gets down to about 45 degrees.

Even with good snow tires, the car is an average at best in snow. I have 18" Dunlop Wintersports on my coup. It handles OK in snow. My wife's Mazda 6 with all season radials is much better. For comparison, my old Mitsu Eclipse (with AWD) was rocket in the snow, even with all season radials. One of the few things I miss about it -- used to love the snow days.
