car salesman are simply FUKEN LAME! most of them have jobs there for 6 months or less...and the rest are newbies. youll find a few legit ones that actually care about the customer. they try to screw you in every way possible. if they just understood the concept of customer service, they'd seee their clients return. but no...they just like to screw people. everytime ive bought/leased a car...the guy that sold me the car would never be there--he had already quit or been fired. past 3 cars have been the same story. they just need to learn how to help people out and stop playing games.

LOL, apparantly that's what the saleman asked for ...... -- and $500 is more than fair.

So why was the first purchaser not asked if he minded that someone bought the car now, and they got another for him when he was ready?

They just didn't want to see the second buyer walk and figured that they already had the first one hooked and could snow him anyway.

That's bad business. If I were treated that way, I'd hit the roof.

C.

They pulled the old bait and switch, that is what they are #1 for. So, anyhow, my brother put down a $500 deposit for a 2007 G35 Coupe, the salesman told him to come down to the dealership about 4 times, this place is a good 20 minutes away. So, as he is about to purchase the car, they tell him, they just sold the car an hour ago, because they had to get it from one of their sister dealerships. So, OK, pretty pissed right there. Now, not only did this happen once, but yes people, guess again, twice!!!!! He goes down there today as he was asked to come in yet again, this being around the 5th time, as he was ready to sign papers (which they were asking more money for the second car), and close the deal, he tells us, he has just a slight, slight, very slight problem, they sold the car yet again, one hour ago. This is just about the biggest problem you can get as he was saying the slightest, not to mention, this was all with a $500 deposit down. Needless to say, he demanded the $500 back, as he has given them one to many chances, being dragged around only to be lied to one after another. He will no longer be purchasing the car from them and move on to another dealership. What do you guys think about this...?
Nissan did the SAME thing to me when i was trying to buy a 350z. i got pissed off so i walked next door to infiniti and bought a G instead.

That's great, I have a similar story. Ten years ago my cousin and I each wanted to buy a 3000GT Spyder VR-4, and the ********* at Bill Seidel's Mitsubishi wouldn't even let us sit in the one they had on the floor. It ends up we each bought one out in Pheonix and when we got back to S. Florida we took them to Seidel's for an oil change. The look on the sales managers face was priceless!

wow...3k for a deposit. I've been to some dealers that only need $100 for a security deposit. $500 seems to be the average at most dealers.
