Angry You have got to hear this story...

So, listen to this. My brother went over to Infiniti of Cocunut Creek (Supposed to be the #1 Infiniti Dealer in the world, yeah right!) They pulled the old bait and switch, that is what they are #1 for. So, anyhow, my brother put down a $500 deposit for a 2007 G35 Coupe, the salesman told him to come down to the dealership about 4 times, this place is a good 20 minutes away. So, as he is about to purchase the car, they tell him, they just sold the car an hour ago, because they had to get it from one of their sister dealerships. So, OK, pretty pissed right there. Now, not only did this happen once, but yes people, guess again, twice!!!!! He goes down there today as he was asked to come in yet again, this being around the 5th time, as he was ready to sign papers (which they were asking more money for the second car), and close the deal, he tells us, he has just a slight, slight, very slight problem, they sold the car yet again, one hour ago. This is just about the biggest problem you can get as he was saying the slightest, not to mention, this was all with a $500 deposit down. Needless to say, he demanded the $500 back, as he has given them one to many chances, being dragged around only to be lied to one after another. He will no longer be purchasing the car from them and move on to another dealership. What do you guys think about this...?

$500 deposit? cmon man. the cars is 33+... i would expect at least 3grand down to seal the deal.

yes it was shady of the sales rep but cmon, they're sales rep. they lie to their momma if they have too.

South Coast Infiniti got me good. Told me the black G35's are hard to find, especially the one I wanted (with everhthing), and told me I paid close to invoice.

I paid 700 over invoice. This was in october. The 07's came out a month later and theres plenty of black G's fully loaded all over the lot.

I had to go through the same thing when I purchased my G. I went to three different dealerships before I finally bought the car. The first two were very shady and rude. Thats one of the reasons why I never bring my car back to the dealers to get serviced.

Ya, I sort of agree. But, if it wasn't enough to hold the car, the salesjerk should of said something like "hey, that's not enough to hold the car."

umm i only was asked to put 500 down as well i would have put more but thats all the ask for...so yes it should hold the car... not sayin it should hold it for a week but atleast a few days... my dealer was amazing i mean he wanted invoice for mine since it was the first sold 06 in NJ but silly him i talked him down 4gs... but anyways dealers are sort of like doctors it always helps to get a second opinion before signin on anything...

If you got a deposit in writing for the specific car, I smell a lawsuit.

He was only asked to put down $500 and he came in every time they asked him to and as soon as he got there, they said "slight problem, the car has been sold an hour ago" They told him this not once, by twice.
