WEIRD TPS Situation!?

first off thank god its friggin friday! heres the dilemma: i bought a set of oem coupe wheels a few months back with tps which i had to have programmed or whateva at the dealer....everything was A ok, they actually worked lol i then sold them suckers for a pretty penny and borrowed another set of oem 19's with tps till i got new wheels (goood looking out jose!) problem is my tps light didnt go on the whole time i was driving on them (~ 3 weeks) i was thinkin maybe they had the same code or something since they were the same wheels i dunno so i needed some new wheels asap and ended up getting new chrome oem 19's with new tires but without tps sensors (no biggy new ones on the way) i put them on without the sensors for now and my tps light still doesnt go on!?? for once i actually want the light to show and its not! WTF

some times people get lucky (or in your case since you want it on...unlucky) and it doesnt go on

i know of a few people who don't have TPS and still no light

How far are you driving? I've heard that you have to travel a certain amount of miles (I think around 30 miles) before the warning light will come on.

On the other hand, I have an 06 with aftermarket wheels with no tpms and my warning light comes on as soon as I start the car.

Don't worry about them. I got my Volks with TPS and drove on them for a week and it never went off, but they do need to be reprogrammed everytime you get new TPS sensors.

I heard they only go off after about 40 minutes of continuous driving?
