well..as the title says..well i had a ford lightning rev on me tonight,didnt pay to much attention to it..just curious..if anyone has ever went at one..just curious to see how the g hangs with it..looked like an 03 lightning

 

sry to break the news but he'll murder you... 390 hp. 3v motor...supercharged...ad most liekyl will have either a ported blower or a KB(kennee Bell) which will even add an even more masive amount of Hp and TRQ hahaha

actaully, here's a story you'll prolly call bs on but it's the truth since I'm not biased on any car.

I raced my friends 2003 Lightning. and I have a 2004 AT G with Intake (AEM) and True Dual Exhaust (Invidia).

From a dead stop, he spinned his tires pretty good, I got great traction.

I pulled ahead like by half a car length, he caught up after 30 mph. LOL.

after that i hung with him till about 65 then he pulled on me by a car length.

we cut off at 90. Was definitly suprised with the G.

 

speaking of the lightning, which one is faster the lightning or the RamV10 w/ the corvetter engine? I race a Ram like that once and neither he or i could pull on each other....

My dad has a 2001 lighting with bolt ons, upper and lower pulleys, flip chip and slicks ran mid 12s. Are cars are fast but not that fast. One thing is that our cars weight almost as much as a lighting.

No Infiniti on this planet (except for an all out race car) will beat a Lightning.

Maybe the OLD 1993 ones with the n/a 351 that was KIND OF weak.

um. no corvette ever had a V10. are you talking about the SRT10 the viper engine?

 

I raced a Cherokeee SRT8 and it was not a big deal - My G35 6MT is TT Greddy sytem doing 12.7. 408 rwhp. Smashed from the hole with no bigggg effort. I didnt even turn VDC off .
I see a Ford Lighting doing 11.0 completly daily driven. Never seen a Ram VRT10 in the strip but i think it is faster then the Ford.

 

you can call BS or w/e u want, but i've taken a lightening off the line... *i got lucky* cuz he missed second and i was gone... ...after that he pulled up behind me and gunned it like he had something to prove, but too bad cuz i had to stop at wawa

 

lightning will basicly just rape you..very few are unmodded so most are even faster!

 

i thought they were all automatic?
