My Car was stolen this morning
Man such a hassle. When my GS-R got stolen, Triple A insurance had someone from Enterprise pick me up wherever I was. Paid for rental up to 30 days or whenever my car was found.
Forget those cheap insurance companies, pay a little more for actual service.

If you condone this kind of behavior, then you are no better than the OP. I'm going to back out of this thread from herein.
-Cheers.
well i for one am not dishonest. you want dishonesty, look at your tipical A-hole insurance company. you pay out the A$$ to have insurance. and then your car never gets in a wreck and you are out of all that money that you could have put towards making your car better. and then if you do get in a wreck or your car gets stolen (like in this case) you have to fight to get back everything that you paid for before. and they won't even give you your money back when you rightfully should get your value of your car and your belongings back. IMO insurance has f***ed all of us one way or another and now its time to stick it back to them.
TOTALLY agree with ya, GEE-WIZ~

=dishonest~ What do you think suggesting to delete the post to cover his @$$ is? And as far as this thread taking a turn, Pedro, you are right. It's sad to see someones car stolen - regardless of the situation - but to deliberately go at insurance to make a buck or come out ahead is not the purpose of insurance, as these guys are suggesting. Blindside, they are only required to "make us whole" depending on the situation, which is also described in your policy. You and Bro should take a closer look at your insurance policies and ask questions to make sure you have the proper coverage to suit your needs.
I am not being facectious, I am offering you some beneficial information. As far as the Rolex, etc...Basically, a good rule of thumb to remember is if it isn't a part of the car, it isn't covered under general liability or theft insurance and would have to be claimed under your homeowners policy (i.e. stereo that is properly installed - speaker box must be screwed to the car, not just connected to the wires and sitting in car; another example is a portable monitor/dvd player, this would is not considered a part of the car, nor would cds. Hence the reason his Rolex and other expensive items are not being covered by your car insurance.
Bottom line, A) It sux that his car was stolen. B) This forum does not support insurance fraud. C) Gee-wiz was offering beneficial advice regarding the insurance adjuster that could come across this forum---it IS enough for the adjuster to support potential fraud. And D) Holy crap-- can you guys believe it is already DECEMBER ? Woooohhoooo!!~
Still sorry about your car Bro, I am sure it will work out the way its supposed to. Good luck!

well it would be a great world if we could all live in perfect harmony, but the fact that he (as well as all of us) pay out the *** to have insurance and then when we file a claim they find anything they can to not cover us as well as we have to fight them to actually get the proper amount of what our car is worth. so we get screwed no matter what way you look at it. we pay a ton of money if something potentially happens. then with something happens the bastards want to keep all the money for themselves and try to say "operator error" its bull****.

the claim was filed. I didnt see any shattered glass where i parked so I'm

had my Golf clubs over $2000 worth in the trunk, my Armani sunglasses and
my Rolex aswell. I just hope I get my stuff back instead of the car

I'm not trying to commit a felony. If there's a dent or even a scratch that I didnt have, I would work my *** off to get my insurance company to repair it.
Also If i see extensive clutch wear I would also fight to get that fixed too, I haven't even started the car since it was recovered. I did see dents , and scratches on the car and 3 of the rims. Take my advice, when ever your car is going through an insurance claim, make sure you are with the car when the adjuster look at your car. Point out everything that looks wrong with the car because most adjuster will just take a quick look and just take pictures. Most of the adjusters will work with you in you favor if you are polite and courtious.
