Look at this way; you, your girlfriend and the potential other innocent people that could have been involved in a car accident caused by you are still alive!! The car can be replaced. Be smarter, don't drink and drive. Its not worth it!!
Oh I did know where i parked the car I just needed a reality check.

It's fine to look for a bargan, but you've got to make certain that you do an apples to apples comparison. Unfortunately the only time people find out what kind of Insurance Company they are dealing with is when they make a claim.

About ten years ago I totalled my 911. I slid on black ice, hit and embankment and my car flipped over. A friend of mine at the body shop convinced GEICO to total my car. After talking to some friends at work, I was told about the horror stories of how Insurance Companies screw their policy holders by paying only a fraction of what their cars are worth. So after hearing these stories I was expecting the worse. I determined both the wholesale and retail value of my 911, and I was hoping that they would at least give me wholesale. Well, GEICO paid me full retail without any negotiations. After that experience I don't ever intend to leave GEICO, even if I can safe a couple hundred in premiums.

I had my Integra stolen just a couple of months ago. Believe it or not the first thought I had was "G time!". I did recover by Bolle's and my two sets of Boston Acoustics Pro series. I was somewhat happy about that. The ONLY thing I did not like is that I was deprived of the option to get the new G instead. I think I came out ahead since the worst case scenario was a brand new 2006 G Coupe.

At first she laughed but when we got to the garage to see my car missing,

called ESURANCE. Bastards won't give me a rental car untill 48 hours after

the claim was filed. I didnt see any shattered glass where i parked so I'm

thinking they must of towed it out of there. I dont care about the car but I

had my Golf clubs over $2000 worth in the trunk, my Armani sunglasses and

my Rolex aswell. I just hope I get my stuff back instead of the car

why would you leave a rolex in in your car? stupid!! sorry though
