honestly, theyre pretty much all the same regaurdless of what you hear...
what your paying for is the sound it makes
sycologically, youll feel faster but your just the same performance wise

^i see do you have a personal favorite between the two brands. Do you mean one is louder, or that they just sound diffrent. Do you happen to know the sound diffrence between the two. Also you said you went with a Injen Cai because it fitted your needs better. What do you mean? and whats the K&N that you were talking about earlyer

My personal favorite is the Injen Cai based primarily on sound. As I said earlier, your buying more of a sound than you are performance and yes, you will find that some intakes will sound louder than others.
Sure people will argue that intakes inhance your performance by roughly 5hp but thats nothing and just about any intake will offer that.

I say preference because if you just want the 5hp that wont cost you much but still does the job then simply go with the z-tube and k&n filter. Together they do a great job and are very quite which fit the needs of those who want a stealthy mod.

On the other hand, if you want the sound aspect of an intake while keeping up with performance, youll find a majority of people around here like the sound of the Injen Cai, including myself. The injen cai fits my needs better by offering a meaner sound to the G which is what Im looking for. for you, it may be a different story as you might want something quiter.

All and All, your going to get the performance. it just comes down to the choice of whether you want something like the Injen Cai thats over priced in my opinion at 300, but gives the sound your looking for or if you want something like the z-tube and k&n filter which performance wise is just as good as anything else while priced at a mere $90!!

choice is yours, there are numerous intakes out there; those are just 2 I mentioned.

My 2 cents...

Aftermarket intake, cones, etc on a G/Z are 95 percent bling and mostly for the sounds and look factor.

Save your money and get a Z-tube and k&n drop in. Our intakes were engineered pretty dam well from the factory.
