Great Results-MAF cleaning!
Don't use q-tips. It causes an electro-static charge on the sensor. It throws off the reading calibration. Just spray the sensor and let it dry off. The good sprays leave no residue so it will just come off.
i dont see how cleaning would do anything for horsepower.. much less keepin an accurate reading which is should already be doin. maybe if your MAF was super dirty, then maybe it will benefit you from cleaning it at all.
i read this thread today... went out, bought a MAF sensor cleaner and cleaned the sensor... when i got the sensor out form the intake, it was VERY clean... (my car has 81k miles) cleaned it... i didnt notice any difference...
