Why would only nav equipped cars have a Throttle Position Sensor? Almost all fuel-injected cars have throttle position sensors, even if they don't have throttle-by-wire....

But yeah, I had to get my TPS replaced too. (I think they actually need to replace the whole throttle body to do it... At least they did mine)...

um never mind it went off....false alarm guys
Might want to still get it scanned, to see if it stored a code. My TPS problem was intermittent, such that when you restarted the car, everything was fine. I reset the light at first, to see if it was a glitch. Problem didn't show up again for over a year. The second time, I reset the light again when I saw it was the same code, and the problem disappeared for another 6-8 months.

The third time, I said screw the glitches, this is getting annoying, so I just took a detour to the dealer instead of going into work. They installed a new throttle body for me.

i didnt reset the ECU or anything. I opened the gas door unscrewed the gas cap and re tightened it and then it went off on the way home....

mine turned on and the car stalled out. went to a mechanic when i got my winter tire package put on, had him shut off the light. 2 days ago, svc engine soon came on again. this sucks. prob gonna have to take it to the dealer. maybe bad gas?
