Question I have a bumpy ride. Why?

I have a 03 g35. I put 20inch tsw thrustons on it and wrapped um with falkens. I feel every little bump on the road, alot of the time. I dont like it at all. any suggestions that might soften the ride. I am not looking for a sport suspension because iam not a racer. I just want to soften the ride.

P.S. If anyone is getting rid of there stock brake system. I need a complete set. I only have around $250 to spend. LMK PLEASE!

Well you have a bumpy ride because of the rims. No matter what, if you go with 20's you will feel the bumps. You can try taking some air out of your tires to make it softer, but be carful for potholes, you might bend a rim.

i don't understand why people put 20s and bitch about the ride quality. Get a tahoe and put 20s on it and it will be soft like its on 16s on a G35.

Twenty inch rims & Low profile tires = bumpy ride!

Your tire profile is probably 30 so whatever you run over you'll feel all of it
thru the steering wheel and seat of the pants......what you did was
sacrifice looks for driveability!

Before you ditch the wheels, did you try the car for any length of time before swapping rims? The coupes provide a good bit of road feel with the stock 18 inch rims. Granted, a 20 is going to exacerbate the situation, but if you came from an Accord, you'll have to get used to a higher level of road feedback.
