2001 VR6 Passat?

My friend has a 2001 VR6 Passat, wagon... He claims he could keep up with a g35... what do you all think? I cant find times of one online. Its an auto... totally stock.

no way...i think your friends car would have trouble keeping up with a stock is300

Oh also I found a website a while ago where you could compare care times (a lot of different times) side by side but for some reason I cant find it anymore. I am wondering how my g35 holds up against other cars.

Don't doubt the VR6 motor. I had a corrado VR6 and it was pretty damn fast. I think that my Corrado could hang with our G's pretty well...

It was a different site where you actually selected a vehicle and it showed all different times of the vehicle (0-60, 0-100, quarter mile, 1/8 mile, etc...) and then you could choose another car and do a side by side comparison.

Nah...i toasted one of those. Not fast. THe R32 gave me a much closer run (those things are quick!).

i actually raced one last night.. i was cruising on the highway.. with 3 passenagers.. so full car.. with a full trunk.. he speeds by and slows down.. and was right next to me.. then he rolls down his window.. for some wierd reason.. then floors it.. i floored it.. and i passed him within a few seconds and was a few car lengths ahead of him easily.. he was with 1 other passenger.. it was a good killl

I think you should race him from 0-120. The G can do it in 22 seconds vs the Passat in 53 seconds

i had a Mk4 GTi VR6, which is faster than the corrado stock for stock. and ill tell ya right now, the G will win.
