Coupe Sound System Acts Weird

I already mentioned this problem in another thread but did not get any answers on it.
So here is what I got.

When I start my car and turn on the radio I'm getting pretty weak bass. But when I turn it up to 20(volume) then it immediately gets very loud (bass that is). So today I noticed another interesting issue. When I turned it back down from 20 my base stayed on strong. To clear things up...........It was not loud as it was at volume 20, it was just loud enough to be heard. So basically to draw the line to my problem...My bass is very low before the volume is turned up to 20 and after that even if you turn volume down it is loud enough.

I'm trying to figure out if it is a problem with my settings or the actual sound system.

Anyone else have anything similar to my problem?

is your bass all the way up to 5? because if its at 5 it resets every time u turn off the car and goes back to stock setting. but if u look in the menu it will still say 5, so just lower it down to 4 and it shouldn't do that

there is equalizer setting, i think its low, medium, high, set it to low, that adds more base
