I have a VIN # for the part. Thanks Greene!!!

I'm also looking for a VIN # of a 2003 WILLOW Interior Coupe that has the 'pitted' sports steering wheel.

Meaning my steering wheel is "blank" or "smooth" and does not have the dots on the steering wheel such as the leather seats...

Does anyone have a WILLOW sports steering wheel that I can use their VIN # to get the correct part from the stealership ??

Thanks Guys!

^ Yeah Man! As long as its a willow interior it's golden.

So do you have the Sport Steering Wheel ??

Thanks Guys!

*See the 'Dots' or whatever you want to call them...mine is SMOOTH and BLANK. I want a Willow Steering wheel that has the more "Sporty" look to it. (aka the "dots.")

If anyone has a WILLOW steering wheel like this, please PM your VIN, so I can hopefully get the parts department to locate the correct part. I'm in your debt guys. This site is the only reason, my car is shaping up to what it is today...!! So thank you all in advance!

I went to the dealership to order a part. The part is a unusal part, but non-the-less, a part that is offered for our Coupes.

I believe I've heard it referenced before as the "Instrument Belt Line".

Some coupes came with a black one (like mine) or a SILVER one that matched the rest of the interior's silver.

I have an 2003, so it's the Painted Silver and not the 'Brush Aluminum' look like the older models.

Anyways, the parts guys said to give them my VIN # so they could look it up, which didn't make a bit of sense to me, since my Vin number will only show what parts ('options') came with my car, and since it's not on my car then,,,duh!!

They (parts guys) could not find this part for me and literally told me to look for a 2003 that had the Belt Line and write down the VIN # off that car so they could do there job and find the part.

Does ANYONE have the part number for this part?

It should be (2) parts, b/c it's one long piece on the right side of the driver seat running the length all the way to the glove box. The other piece is a short strip above the drivers side (to the left of you when driving) vent. The dealer told me that part might come attached to the entire driver's side vent...surely not??

Anyways, does anyone have a .02 on this situation? I've included a picture to help everyone see what part I'm looking for...

Thanks guys,
-WoW

they use your vin to make sure its the right part...my dealer has done it many times, its not a big deal it makes it easier - the vin shows what options the car has

I've never seen any stock '03's or '04's with a silver strip that sticks out like in the pic. They all just have a recessed black strip that snaps into place.

^ Yeah, I know that it's cool for them to use MY VIN, but how am I to ask a member here to give me their VIN number so I can find the part number for their silver "belt line" strip?

^ Thanks Man!, I think that's the THICK Belt Line for the 2006-07's though? Maybe not, b/c now I see the analog clock space...hmm, I'll look into...Thanks though!!!!

^ I've never seen one for 03-04' that STICKS out like that either, but there IS a silver version of our Black Strip.

Is there any member here that can give me the Part Number(s) and/or their VIN number (if you have the silver belt line of course) so I can locate the correct part number and order.

I can't believe it's this difficult??? PLEASE help guys! It's like the "hidden treasure" now for me...I'm dying to get the part now (more than ever now!)

Thanks Guys!

LOL - I believe the term you're looking for is 'perforated' leather...

Yeah, I'm looking for a WILLOW colored perforated leather steering wheel.

Anyone have a part number for that as well? Or does this NOT exist?

Thanks Guys!

I found this site that might be helpful (?):

http://www.automotix.net/partshotlin...-requests.html

However, I'm not entirely sure that the perforated leather steering wheel is even available for 2003 models...I think it was introduced in 2005 with the interior refresh, but I'm not positive. Might've even been 2004.
