New Clutch!

Aight guys, ya'll are going to think this is crazy but I'm about to have to replace my clutch for the 2nd time after 56k miles. I really don't drive my car that hard either. This time I don't want this to happen again so what kind of clutch would you recommend like ACT, etc. I only want clutch recommendations not talk of driving my car too hard or how many miles you have on yours without a clutch replacement haha cause I know I would get a lot of that. Thanks guys.

+1 for JWT. Show someone who knows how to drive stick and let them tell u if u are doing something wrong.

Im still on my stock clutch after 5+ trips to the drags and countless street launches and about 10 hard canyon ripping. 34k on the car and still going strong with the stock clutch. I never burned the clutch though.

My tranny and Flywheel were replaced under warranty and they told me the clutch was being eaten by the faulty flywheel as well so they replaced my clutch. Maybe you have something wrong w/ the flywheel?

Ive got to take my car in for my 15 month maintenance, an oil change, and my driver's side window motor is starting to fade on me. I guess Ill have them check my flywheel too. Ive got less than 14K miles on my car and my clutch is slipping already...

How much did the labor cost you to change the clutch each time? Is it possible to DIY? I did my own on my MR2 Turbo with Spec Stage 3 once and it was PITA.

yeah the first time I think I paid around 1500 bucks for a clutch flywheel and labor. I think I will go with the JWT this time. I'm glad i'm not the only person this has happened to though. They need to figure out whats wrong with these clutches.
