i have photophobia. my eyes are sensitive to sunlight and require tinting down to 5% according to my eye doctor

My coupe is black and I just got the tint done 1 week ago. Tint is illegal here on the front two windows regardless of %. So I just got the darkest tint possible on all the windows and it looks sick . I didn't realize just how much tint sets your car off.

In delaware you can not have tint on under 35% i beleive. Basically you go to the shop who installed it they remove it. Once you are inspected you go back to the shop and they reinstall at a discount rate. Being pulled over, none of my friends have you just cant give the cop a reason to pull you over adn decide to be a larger "dick" to you

i have always had tint on my cars. in the last few years it has gotten to become a real pain. in nj they cracked down on all of the private inspection centers that would pass you for a fee, and now when you do find one, they want at least $150. its cheaper to pull off the tint, get it inspected by the state for free and then put on new tint after passing inspection. now in nj, on new cars, the inspection is good for 4 years. so i get it tinted right away and then get rid of it before i have to reinspect. other than that, it really starts to become a pain, one night, several years ago, i got pulled over 3 times. that was when i had 5%. i no longer go that dark. weigh the pluses and minuses. it really makes a car look nice, but is it worth the david hasselhoff.

in Texas im pretty sure you can have 25% all around except for the front front (where any tinting is illegal)....there is also some law about being able to have no limit to the percentage in the back but you must have two side mirrors...its weird

ya thats for at night. and even though it is 25% you can only get 35% film put on because the car already has 90% from the factory. you just can't see it cuz its so light. its in the UV ray film they put on. for houston guys go to altamere on South side of I-10 between wilcrest and kirkwood. a little expensive but they warranty for life whether or not it was your fault.

Cops will usually pull you over for 5%, but for 15% and above they usually wont bother you, USUALLY. Its more likely for them to give you a tint ticket if you have 15% or less, if you got a ticket for another reason.

I just got a tint ticket, its a 10 dollar fine i believe and it cost like 40 bucks to put them back on. Dont forget its only the front two you have to take of when you get pulled so when u go back to install them its 40 - 50 bucks just to install the front two again. I personally think its worth it as long as you dont get caught every other month.
