Unhappy dont door dings scare u guys?

ive had my g for not even a month now and im really, really afraid of parking lots now. ill park way far away and for miles i dont care. cuz most cars have that big ol rubber strip that runs all the way down the car for the exact purpose of deflecting other peoples doors off of yours. obviously the g has no such device. instead the door panel is naked, ready to be violated. so far i have no dings or dents in the car (bought used) and id like to keep it that way. but i just feel bad knowing that the odds are not in my favor.

Haha, the second day I had my G, I was sitting in my car on the phone in a StarBucks parking lot, and a truck pulls up next to me and the door flings the hell open and smacks into my passenger side door. And a bunch of teenagers get out... So I beep my horn and am like " What the f***? " and they say sorry... Luckily there was no damage, otherwise I would probably be in jail

I saw my new neighbor fling his door into mine the other day! I happen to be cooking on the grill in my patio at the time. I flipped my ****! He told me to relax! A few words were exchanged. The next day my girlfriend was like “the kids next door girl came over and was asking me to prevent you from hurting him.” haha

I got one too at Home Depot, no doubt from a pick-up truck.
Just hate ppl who aren't considerate and/or don't think when they get out/in their cars.
I stay away from compact spaces and park out in the boonies, but it's inevitable no matter what you do to prevent it.

Thumbs down on that ugly side molding.

I did not even realize my G had a painted side molding till now when I looked out the window. HaHa I have an 03. Did the owner before me put it on? Or did it come stock with it on?

Oh I almost forgot.... SIDE MOLDINGS KICK A$$!

This is why I kept my old Frontier. It gives me something that I can take to the store or the mall or any place with a huge parking lot with lots of potential for dings. I could care less if someone bumps it with their door because its approaching 10 years old and its already got its share.

I personally like the look of the side molding. However, they don't really prevent dings. I have to say that I hate door dings myself.

yay! I'm not the only one paranoid every day I go to school or every time I run an errand. I try to remember the license plates of those around me, just in case they do something inconsiderately stupid!

So yeah, i'm scared like crap most of the time I park my baby.
