Wat up yall, this is my 1st time on here and im thinkin about purchasing a 03 or 04 G35 Coupe manual VERY SOON...howmuch should i look to spend?? And what do yall think about this car??? Alot of ppl tell me that i will have alot more fun with this car in manual than auto....... is this true??? Wat are some of the pros and cons wit tha G...... THanks for the help!!

 

Search around on the forum. There are always new people looking for Gs and we post the samething on all the threads. Just go up and search for it.

well what other cars are you considering to buy? whats your price range? the Gs are fun cars to drive and look very sexy even when stock and for the price you wont find a better combination

 

If you love to feel the car go stick, if you want to have a relaxed drive go auto its really ur choice search the forums this topic has been discussed 50+ times.

 

i dont wanna spend more than 21k with about 5g's down(do you think that is possible?). And the other car that i am also thinking about is a 03 acura tl type S...But i have to get the g its the car for me...lol

 

i had an 02 TL type s before i got the G (auto).. ur looking at a coupe vs a sedan, so if u ride alone or max 2 people then the G is the way to go. If you usually have people in the car then you might want to consider a sedan since you will probably be annoyed with moving the seat back and forth.

The G is definately a car that will make you enjoy your drive. I would definately go with the G rather than the TL

 

$21+$5=$26K? Is this what you are talking about? If so yes. If you are talking about $21k total then good luck.....But it is possible

I just picked up an 03 mt6 with 6K miles for $26K

 

Just look on autotrader to see how much they're going for by private parties. You can also check kbb, edmunds, etc. Finally, you can look on ebay, search for g35 coupes in some mile range (like... 250miles) of your zip code, and search for completed auctions. See how much they went for.

Finally, check carmax.

Also, how much you spend should be how much you can reasonably afford to spend on a car. What's your monthly income? Is it stable? What expenses? Do you have the mafia chasing you for a loan payment... with a shiv?

These are all questions that need to be answered. Especially that last one. Man, I hate getting shivved.
