Window Tint

Hi, I live in Illinois and the window tinting laws are

None allowed for windshield
None allowed for Front windows
No Limit for Back windows
No Limit for far back window

I was thinking about doing 30% in the front and 10% on the back 2 windows and the far back window. What do you guys think about this? Will I be pulled over for having 30%?

i live in san jose cali where the front/windshield cant have any and the backs have no limit.

i have 5% all around on my DG and have never had a problem.

CAN i get in trouble? yes. WILL i? most likely not, unless im driving like an idiot.

its unlikeley to get pulled over just because of your windows, its more likely to get pulled over for something else, and then have a tint ticket added to it

yeah i hate it when theres a difference...i got 20 % all around and it looks great...and if your a little bit scared of the cops..when you see a cop...just turn on the dome lights open the sunroof to let the light in...that will make the tint seem lighter..

honestly, whever you do a tint, your taking a chance, this is where its up to you on whether you like it enough to go through to hassle of getting inspection stickers or even tickets :X
