Hey all you September/October order people. From what I understand, our cars are produced in manufacturing runs, which means that all of our cars should be delivered to the west coast at roughly the same time right? Well...my dealer has been all over the place with delivery estimates. I was first told that the car should be here mid to late January. Then I was told by late December. Now I'm hearing Febuary?!

Do any of you guys/girls have any solid delivery dates on your orders?! I'm slowwwwly going insane!

No solid dates. I keep hearing end of December first of January. Mine is an October "W" order.

6mt DG/G Nav, splash, aero, premium (everything except XM radio)

 

It's interesting that you mention that. I was never in fact contacted by the dealer and given an order number. Am I supposed to get this number or does it only serve dealer-internal purposes? I've stopped by the dealership recently to "check up" on things (and drool over the showroom representations of my car), and at no point was I given any order number.

sept order here... east coast (jersey dealer).

No car yet, they told me early december. Originally they told me nov 19th... which would be just over one day from now.

I didn't do anything special. I stopped by the dealer on a Wednesday. Filled out all the paperwork on what I wanted. The order was placed that Friday. I then got an email from my sales guys saying my order had been placed and included my order #.
The sales guy has been pretty cool about everything.

I'm pissed off...

anyone want to buy a set of pirelli 210 snowsports with 17" rims... i paid just over $1,400 after shipping and taxes and all that junk.

I'm seriously about to just say screw this car.. this date is a month later than I was originally told.. I can understand a week or so, but over 4 weeks? And who's to say that they won't delay it again.



sorry for the rant, just pissed cause I am getting this beautiful car in the middle of freaking december...

mine is "V" order. CA dealer said within next 2 weeks.

 

Made an order on 4th of November. Order form shows December for production month. ETA 02/04.

 

I had a September "V" order in Mayrland, and my car arrived this past Monday (11/17).

 

No kidding...nice!! I can't believe september orders are comming in!
I'm a september order too...but I'm not focusing too much on the date it will arive. The car will be ready when it is ready...not much you can do about that. It could come early. There could be a srike and it comes late. If you REALLY want the car (and I assume we all do since we went throught he trouble of specially ordering) we will accept that fact.
For me focusing on a date that may or may not be correct is torture, it makes the wait worse. I didn't even ASK my dealer when the car will be in...I have a general idea when it will be in (late november/december) and when it comes it comes...

 

I guess that although I ordered in September...I must really have an "October" order. The dealership didn't actually order the car until the first week of October.

I guess looking back on it...I must have been thinking with the wrong brain to order the car when I did because it will be sitting in my garage while winter pummels CT. I wish that I could force the dealer to delay my order. Not only does it suck that I can't drive the car, but it sucks that I have to pay for the car while I can't enjoy it...

C'mon...I don't think ct winters are THAT bad...not in coastal ct anyways. I've driven the past 7 years in a rwd firebird without snow tires with no problems.
I'm just going to order 17' rims/blizzaks and all season floormats for mine....and drive it s-l-o-w in the snow...
Of course I woulnd't mind having a new nissan armada in my fleet though

hmm, yeah I guess that sounds right studlymobile...

It just kinda threw me off cause I bought tires/rims JUST when I heard that this car was coming in mid november, and I got preapproved on a car loan for 30 days... which will be over by the time I actually get this thing.

I guess my initial pissed off attitude is over..

I think I'm going to have to stay away from g35driver for a while to keep my sanity though.
