thats stupid. why would he ask you to open your hood if you get pulled over. i only got asked that when caught racing. you cant get a ticket for having a stinkin CAI. thats just dumb.

as for CAI vs. the stillen + z-tube, thats just preference i believe. i have heard that CAI's actually dont give the gains seen on the dynos when on the road going freeway speeds due to aerodynamics, somethign about air pockets and getting air sucked out becuase of high pressure zones or somethign along those lines.

i got pulled over for the front license plate. Next thing he said my exhaust is too loud. Man, a freaking stock v6 mustang is louder than my exhaust. Anyway, so he check underneath my car for catalytic converter. Too bad i have them, so base on no front license plate and exhaust sound too loud, he ask me to pop the hood. Well...actually the front mount intercooler gave it away too.

I was being polite the whole time and so figure, hell got nothing to hide. Figured, let him see the hood and maybe he let me get away with it. oh well, bastard bust me for greddy air filter. Replace that with a KN and stick a carb sticker on it. Went to a state certified smog instpection, pass the visual and smog test.. The process cause so much time and headache for me.
